  1. Hi greencotom, I'm having the same problems. I have had quite a few snap too. When did you order yours?
  2. No probs Paul. Just let me know and I'll get some sent up. I'm gonna get some new teeth ordered up tomorrow for stock.
  3. Hi mr phm, I am a dealer and also I use Multi tip. I reckon I may just have a bad box :-( They are normally s**t hot and never had a problem. Just wanted to see if anybody else was having any issues with wear. How are yours??
  4. Cheers guys. I agree with you. They are a great design and the work fantastically. I'm lately experiencing the teeth wearing very quickly and breaking. I have passed it by Patrick, I worked for him for 11 years and he is on the case to try and work out what's happening. Has anybody else experienced fast wear on their teeth??
  5. Hi Si, I have a Predator 50R. It's a great machine and as stated above they don't hang about. The thing I find with them is the wiring causes a far amount of problems, like starting issues. The silent pack engine is good but you must clean the engine compartment regularly (everyday). They are expensive but if you have loads of grinding to do, they are the kiddy. Cheers.
  6. Hi woodED. I've been using the Multi tip system for years now and have been getting on with it well, but lately, not too well. I know a lad that runs the green tooth system and he reckons its good. I'm just being nosey to be honest.
  7. Hi guys Has anybody got any other wheel fitted to their predator 50 stump grinder other than the Multi tip?? Please let me know.
  8. I can get clutches. Get in touch if you need one
  9. Hi all, Just thought i would let you know, i found this on ebay. Standard finger teeth for £1.80. Very cheap. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=220363764221 If anyone is interested.
  10. The Jensen 'Bankmaster' looks a very good tool, but, a big but, the track pressure on that angle will remove the tracks on a regular basis. Don't get me wrong, Jensen are a cracking machine. This invention is just 'OK'
  11. It looks like the Timberwolf machine is very similar to the 'tilt bed' Jensen. Ground clearance is essential in track machines for trackside. Greenmech's Safetrack will be very hard to beat!
  12. "Honey, Those dodgy blokes next door sure do like their leap frog. The dirty b*****ds"
  13. Hi Steve,

  15. Hi Ian, I've never had a shogun, but i think that if the shogun is as good as the L200 then go for it. My L200, which i have had for just over 2 years has never let me down. Its a 56 reg and i've worked it hard. Its very rare that i doesn't have over 2 ton towing behind it. It has 103,000 miles on the clock and hasn't missed a beat. Mitsubishi make a brilliant work horse. I say, Go for it!! You won't regret it.
  16. Jensen bearings failing?? Thats a strange one, especially at only 300 hours work. There are only 2 reasons why that would of failed is because the bearing/s was a s**t one or the alignment of the rotor wasn't quite lined up (this is easy to check, look at the blade and anvil distance). Hopefully woodpicker, you have a good 1000 + hours in that machine now. Timberwolf bearings are such a downside to their machines. The small bearings on the 150's can't handle the fatigue and pure hammer put through the machines. As the lads on here will tell you the front bearings (the 2 small bearings) are only the most common to fail. But, they are good tools.
  17. Hi Ian, Could you let me know what sort of issues you have had with this machine. I would like to see if i can help. I know the Predator machinery very well. The Predator 28R machines are normally very good. All the teething problems have been sorted. Get in touch soon.
  18. Now reading it, i see what you mean. ha ha I would never make a author. Keep your eyes open for me would ya. Thanks Buzz Mark
  19. Hi Buzz, Cheers for your advice but i do know of a few chippers but nothing i would say cheap. I have been working on and selling chippers for quite awhile now, but i thought i would ask around on here to do someone a favour to see if they needed to off load a machine to raise funds. Thanks for your reply Mark
  20. Jane and Arlene are outside their nursing home, having a drink and a smoke, when it starts to rain. Jane pulls out a condom, cuts off the end, puts it over her cigarette, and continues smoking. Arlene: What in the hell is that? Jane: A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet. Arlene: Where did you get it? Jane: You can get them at any drugstore. The next day, Arlene hobbles herself into the local drugstore and announces to the pharmacist that she wants a box of condoms. The pharmacist, obviously embarrassed, looks at her kind of strangely (she is after all, over 80 years of age), but very delicately asks what brand of condom she prefers. 'Doesn't matter Sonny, as long as it fits on a Camel.' The pharmacist fainted.
  21. A funeral service is being held for a woman who has just passed away. At the end of the service, the pallbearers are carrying the casket out when they accidentally bump into a wall, jarring the casket . They hear a faint moan. They open the casket and find that the woman is actually alive! She lives for ten more years, and then dies. Once again, a ceremony is held, and at the end of it, the pall bearers are again carrying out the casket. As they carry the casket towards the door, the husband cries out, 'Watch that wall!'
  22. Hi Paul,

You ok? Hope the snow isn't causing you to much hassle?

I left a message on your phone today just mentioning that i know where there is a 12metre platform.

    Would you be interested?

    Cheers

  23. Not dropped from a plane, its the result of a Eddie Stobart driver not paying attention. I saw this in Somerset in a fella's yard. The insurance said it may be repairable.
  24. Ha ha. Very cheap. Might be able to save a jockey wheel.
