There are a lot of picture's on here of tractors being used for work not play without roll over protection how is this posible with HSE stricked guide lines?.

Paul, i think there is an exception about when working under trees. I think it was along the lines of if the tree interfered or hindered effective operation of the machine then the rops could be removed as long as it is replaced immediately.

I think Penfold is correct. If you're operating a tractor between tree with low limbs, and there is a risk of catching low limbs with ROPs it can be temporarily removed, but only while in use in that scenario.
