Lovely top of yew the butt was cut to make a feature table, the clients going to put a glass top on

state what the wood is so if there is any new people to milling looking they no what woods are worth milling

 

this was a teaching day for 4 arbtalkers that wanted to no what milling was about

 

wood is walnut

This was a large oak but we cut qtr sawn slabs out the middle then the top and bottom lumps were turned 90' and slab bed the other way

u have a nice set up mate iv only a chainsaw mill

some elm i done in a back garden where i could not get the trunks out in one bit
