Can you climb on 10mm rope?

Yep this its strength. 10mm rope is supposed to be used as part of a 2 rope system in rock climbing. Anything relying on just 1 rope should be 11mm I believe

 

nah mate, modern single ropes can be down to 9mm as in the beal joker

my trad ropes (double) are 7.1mm

Which of those shouldn't I be using then bob?:confused1:

 

Armour prus has CE issues if that bothers you.

Tennex and ice tail are low melting point so depends how you use it tbh but certainly beware if long descents

Not saying I have not used them but just be carefull

Fine for rock climbing but 10mm min for tree climbing in uk of you you wish to comply with legislation

The CE guff doesnt bother me if it's fit for purpose:001_rolleyes: I tend to agree with you on the tenex, but I though icetail was heat resistant?..:confused1:
