Could be crank seals. Could be tuning, could be scored piston and pot. Could be very many things.

First a comp test, then a vac and pressure test. While these tests are getting done would deep clean the carb and check all diapgrams, then if all tests pass try running the saw. Would also look into tank vent and filters. Also clean the air filter up.

I had the same saw with constant carb probs.its the second top handled ive had from husky and until the the 540 comes out I've got a 150t and I'm very happy with.very light good balance and has enough grunt to do limited reduction .my 435t has been back to be fixed more times than I've had hot dinners!

They should be one turn out each, also check the fuel lines, impulse on the carb might have a bit of crap in it

I had mine sent away to husky tech to sort mine out.after it returned it still had carb issues even with new parts on it!! I had it running for about two weeks getting more n more pissed off with it to find that the piston had warn rings on it n the saw was only 9months old.i had the 338 before the 435 which was replaced free of charge to the 435.personally I wouldn't bother untill the 540 is out.
