Hello guys can I pick your brains please! I am looking to order an artic load of hardwood logs next month never ordered a large load like this before ! I am looking at getting 25-27 ton on a load. How many white builders bags will I fill with say a 1 ton or roughly 27 ton ????? I won't hold you to it just an idea please !!!

25 posts in 2 days, you dont hang about, welcome anyway.

 

A builder bag is usually 800x80x800, so HALF a cubic meter. They are designed to carry a ton of SAND but I understand this has now been downgraded to 800kg.

 

From 27 tons of cord I would be looking for 35-40 cubic meters of logs.

Yes thanks for that ! I get about ha ha I know it's prob been asked before so sorry so take it 27 ton is about 35-40 cube and a builders bag is half a cube so double it i should get about 70-80 bags ? Or there about .

thank you for the post i was looking at a artic load now i know what approx you get on one. and what a builders bag will take can see what it will cost to buy in and what i can make on a load taken into account fuel for saws splitting etc
