pictures of hazel hedge

at last been able to download pictures of hedge we have been laying finished today. was a right hedge to do barb wire stock fencing grown in chain saw fodder. stools 20 inches plus across with stems up to 5inches around but in my humble veiw looks good now what they do with the brash pulled out must be 12ft high and 20ft long make a good bonfire on november the 5th

thanks digga thanks for comments. was a pig hedge. but satisfying. had many a comment on how better the recreation ground now looks because of hedge. talking about having two other hedges laid around rec. one is a new hedge other is a realy old thorn flailed to bits. and big and on a bank o fun with car park below used by the school. that will be short days

Ropley behind the village hall. are you interested in hedge laying. if so trying to start up a Hampshire hedgelaying group to promote hedgelaying in Hampshire. need more members. and trying to get a comp off ground for later this year.

yes can see it would have been a pig to lay but as you said very satisfying when you can make something look good from a bad hedge. makes the extra hard work worth it looks like you laid some back the other way to fill the gaps more nice touch
