Got a text this morning from another Arb firm in Cambridge. Robbed last night. Kept his big machines this time but lost all chainsaws, climbing kits and stuff.

It's beyond a joke, the amount of it in this area!!

Given the number of threads like this how about inviting a representative from a constabularly to join the forum???

There are usually many comments about the police and their response to such things.

It would be interesting to let someone have their say and maybe people could discuss preventative measures and anything else that could be done without reverting to the Charles Bronson hollywood vengeance fantasies which so often develop.

I hasten to add I don't know any boys in blue but would be happy to try to find a senior spokesman from my area if people thought it was a good idea. If not I'll just get my crossbow dusted off and set up a few more man-traps behind the barn.

Gardenworks. Michael's a real decent bloke. He had a chipper go last year, now it's his small machines and climbing kits.

We had a visit from a couple of suspicious looking chaps with a certain accent at Hatfield Forest (Bishop Stortford) last week offering cheap saws, then they took a good look at the workshop. Possible the same guys, they were in a blue VW transporter. Reg was reported to the rozzers.
