You could always subby for people local to you. Not all the time but to suit and get experience of different jobs that way too

For me i think that would work alongside the stuff you know. Good to get a feel of things.

When I was a U.K based groundy, the boss I worked for (fair but hard) told me he left college and started up immediately his own business.

No experience, just confidence, common sense and drive.

As a newbie, you don't have to take on more than you can chew.

After all, you can either say NO to a job beyond you or say YES and work it through. Employing others more experienced and taking the role of groundy for that job whilst observing closely.

I say go for it, I did and it worked for me!

I have never found a job beyond me or turned one down due to technical difficulty or sheer size because I know I can call on better men than I and employ them.

This is because I am a businessman first and arb second.

Having said that...I'm still not rich.
