As far as I know it will be a Renewables UK turbine climber course. Excludes work outside the turbine, blade repairs, cleaning etc. For that irata for the uk and spratt for some european and american sites.

 

 

It depends on the company you work for. Some of the larger companies do internal training courses which are compliant to renewable UK or global wind.

 

my most recent training was all done through a company called heightec.

 

 

Training is just on how to use safety kit really. As your not allowed to train above 20m!

 

Turbines I work on range from 75m to 125m

got some great pics of them going up 500 t crane etc but they are on "picasa" anyone know how to upload them on here

in my "other" job we do the roads and the concrete bases. 375 cube of concrete in one pour and up to 40t of re-bar
