Hi all,

I have a shliesing 200mx and having a problem with the engine. On start up it reaches the required revs for chipping, but within mins it losers revs and drops to about 600 rpm, shows the odd puff of white smoke, then builds back up to normal then same happens again.

changed the fuel, filter and in-line filter but to no avail.... any one got any ideas?

any advice would be greatly appreciated

cheers

John

Is there a fuel strainer in the tank on the end of the pick-up? If so, this may be blocked. Try blowing compressed air through the fuel line back towards the tank from the tank side of the in-line filter to see if it clears it temporarily. If it does, drain and clean your tank out. It's unlikely and the wrong colour smoke but make sure your air filter is clear too...

I've had / still got the same problem on my shliesing 200M!!!

Done as you have with filters etc but I'm got to change the lift pump on mine,

I had the same problem on my landy last year and it was the lift pump so I'm guess / hoping it could be that

I'll keep you posted once I've changed it and had it working
