Was hopping to visit there again , may do this summer , I did not hear any thing about her brother , hope they are all doing ok.

 

Yeah nice to get away from the big smoke and hit the country/wild west at times. Aint been talking to any of them in ages man, presume they are ok though. Defo a small world though...

if you are in london worth going to fr jones i,d say.

i tried cathcarts once but they were a lot more expensive than brian o connor (great for parts though) the prices you mention sound like full list,are you sure you are haggeling hard enough?

garrys in oughterard have a 550 in stock ,i have found them good to deal with and they have the software for the tuning .i usually buy from o connors though ,hope they get set up before i have to replace my 346

Yeah picking a 550 up tomorrow in Jones' for £500. Happy enough with that tbh compared to prices at home. Always dealt with Brian or Arthur but can't justify the extra cost for supporting Irish economy when it made so many people redundant and I back and over to the UK for work. May as well take advantage of it:)

HI KAY nice one mate jon :thumbup:

 

Have run couple of tanks through the saw now and it's amazing how much torque it has for a smallish saw. Pulls the 15" b&c with no trouble in anything and the throttle response is rapid. All in all I'm more than happy with the little 550xp. Would recommend.
