Hi Rob,

Cheers I'll ask Jonathan.

You mentioned a while ago you spent a day making stickers,

and I meant to ask you at the time what you made them from?

Did you use planed softwood and rip it to size or something else?

Ooh yeh, also I spotted you do a 42" bar to fit an 066, have you tried one?

Guess it would run a bit slow but sounds a much cheaper option to buying an 880.

This may have been discussed before but is there an obvious difference between the above in regards to treating milled wood from beetle attack.

Borax is much cheaper than the likes of wykarbor.

 

In the end, boric acid is the product deposited in/on the wood.

 

Wykabor is formulated to obtain optimal penetration in use and for the product to remain stable before use.
