MS230 woes

Guys just looking for inspiration/guidance, :confused1:

my trusty MS230 is playing up the symptoms are starts cold no problem, 2nd pull and away she goes, idles no problem and revs right up idles from cold to hot with no issues BUT when it has warmed up if you switch it off it just wont start. If you leave it 10-20 mins it will eventually crack up, but if you try too early it floods every time:bawling:

I didn't have time to strip it today but I figure someone will have had this happen so looking for an idea where to look first

cheers

Hi, change the spark plug sometimes they give a good spark out of the engine but not under compression. Always first thing to change quick and cheap. If it's hot restart sounds like ignition brakedown so use a inline spark tester when it's hot and won't go.

If you still have a spark with the plug in the engine and the inline tester conected then you know all is ok with ignition.
