Cheer's mate would that be for "allround" use felling and logging ? As you can probably guess I'm a complete "newbie" having a career change at 50 lol :blushing:

Yes would be my guess. :001_smile:

I run a 18" on my 346 for blocking down stems and too be honest it is a little too much for the saw in hardwood. If I used it more on the ground I would fit a .325 pitch 14".

Yep . I run my 346 on a 15" bar .325 pitch and full chisel . It is driven by an 8pin rather than a standard 7pin but mine has been ported by spud so has considerably more beans .

Cheer's mate I have contacted Steve already and my saw will be getting his "treatment" as soon as I get myself "sorted" I've got a load of log's to cut up and stack !

Hi mate do you think that chain and bar combination will do my saw up until i get Steve to do the "oracle" on it for me ?

Oh yes its fine on a standard saw . When Steve has worked his magic a standard saw feels as though there is something wrong with it !

The ported 346xp. Obviously quicker throughput of work, how does it feel on vibrations?

Never considered vibes so don't think it can be any worse , may even be smoother
