Hello there, My name is Ian Tooth. I run Fox Earth Tree Services. I purchased a R28 Stumpgrinder from Redwoods some time ago. I have had nothing but trouble from this machine. Its brilliant when it works but most of the time its unreliable!! I would be very interested to hear from anyone else who owns a R28 and has had experienced problems. Please comment.

Hi Ian,

Could you let me know what sort of issues you have had with this machine. I would like to see if i can help. I know the Predator machinery very well.

The Predator 28R machines are normally very good. All the teething problems have been sorted.

Get in touch soon.

Hi there.

My machine has developed lots of different faults - generally the machine has been rendered unusable when it has broken so if yours breaks as mine did you will know. I hope that I am a stand alone case and that your predator 28stumpgrinder gives you the reliability that you would expect from such an expensive bit of kit. Contact me if things dont go well.
