new lower A arms and hub adaptors, put in an additional crossmember on the chassis too. i dropped the anti roll bar mounts to match and i also dropped the diffs to retain correct driveshaft angles

id get one of them tipping ones, but thats all. Cant see myself shovelling woodchip off the back.

Yeah shoveling woodchip does suck. Had four years of it. so then i got a transit tipper to do all the haulin and use the hi lux for logs and site access.

yeah im on there mate, tho havent signed on for about 6 months. there are loads of photos of my blue hilux on there, user name flat back lux.

 

i built the tipping body on the hilux for£350, best bit of home engineering i have ever done!! lol

What sort of milege do you get on a tank?

with 37inch tyres and towing every day absoulutely sod all!!! 300 to a tank??!!

the tipping gear of a written off 54 reg transit i got off ebay. i cut it down to 2.7m x1.8 and made the mountings up to fit the hilux, the actual alloy tray is from an australian spec hilux.

also the ram is really close to the front so it has lot and lots of lifting power
