thats my wet dream that is, there is a gut on you tube, must be skyhucks long lost american brother. i think his name is michael poor. he has an awesome remote controlled one. i think they can get away with it with the size of their streets.

Yes, this is Mike Poors newest machine! The remote controlled one wasn't big enough, I don't think this is remote controlled yet.

 

As you can see it packs away really neat/small/compact!!!!!!!!

That top picture is Mike Poor. He's become quite famous with that rig.

 

No way we'd get away with setting up under a 10,000v powerline in this country...

 

edit, just read rupe's second pic... Jeez that blue and white rig is HIDEOUS. I've had 75tonne all terrain cranes that are more compact than that 'thing'

Do you mean when I'M operating? on the newer cranes the digital weight load indicator + the computer will tell you what your good to lift for a given radius of reach. On older cranes you have a chart. (and yes, in case you ask, I am a qualified crane operator :wink:)

Its is an ugly beast! Apparantly its 175ton!! But I guess thats at zero reach, and american tons too!

i didnt mean you personally mate, when mr poor is up his tree with the remote will it have a digital reading on it. :001_smile:
