Had my lads on the most awkward of jobs this week. Difficult access. Poor ground conditions. Next to where for vehicles. Awkward trees!

BUT..............

We did some calculations AND each one of the lads on the ground was walking on average 9.5mile a day dragging brash!! Over 4 days!!

So thanks lads. You did bloody well!!

nice to see someone praising their staff, i hate it when groundies are called brash monkeys etc, good groudies work hard and are just as important as any team member

As a groundie I will third that.

I hate being called a stick picker upper. Or brash monkey. Yeah ok so I don't climb, doesn't mean I can't just means I don't want to.

To all those climbers who insist on calling us brash monkeys, I would love to see how you get on up a tree without us on the ground refuelling or send food and drink up to you..

Rant over.

Sounds like our groundies are more than worth there weight in gold.
