Hello all, heres my little start up truck/toy, been a really good truck to me and would recommend to anyone wanting a little run around. After snapping my transfer box off a couple of weeks ago due to the silly ally mounts corroding I spent some pennies on a rock crawler transfer box and some nice wheels and tires so now it's all fitted I thought I'd post some pics

It's surprising how well they stack up against a landrover offroad too, the only thing it lacks is a diff lock

 

Suzuki SJ,s are a lot better off road then you'd think my sons have an SJ it's got a set of 31" insa turbo tyres RockLobster transfer box and a winch and will go where heavy modded landrovers go and further and when it does finally get stuck it's super easy to recover as it only weighs 1 tonne ish

The suspension lift was already done when I bought it but it basically consisted of some 2" lift springs and some extended pro comp shocks and extended brake lines. The tyres are insane turbo special track that's are 31" tall. If you are considering doing one I would have a look on the big jimmy forum for knowledge and sales etc. 31" tyres don't fit on a standard 2 " lift, I had to trim the arches and some of the internal bits to make them fit and get full flex without any catching. It's not a hard job but was wort it in my opinion, I'm not a fan of really jacked up vehicles, I prefer a big tyre that fits the arch nicely on a minimum lift keeping center of gravity lower. Don't be fooled into thinking 2" of life isn't very much though, this thing had some serious flex and half the wheel would dissappear inside the arch when on full flex. Sadly I had to sell this one to make way for a larger more capable truck but I'll have another when funds allow.
