Gransfors bruks axe...sweden

Now then....had the day off today so thought I would go to the factory where they make some of the best axes in the world ( my opion and words of the mighty ray mears haha ) just a small little factory here in north ish of sweden. Walked around the factory while it was in working order. No induction just a hi vis and they say feel free to roam haha brillaint as watched from start to finish how they hand make these axes. I was cheeky enough to ask if they would engrave my name in the head and they was fine about it and did. Was free to roam about and good to see the production of them being made. Just though I would share this with u all.

Where about a hour n half away in sundsvall. Was a worth while trip. Throwing axes are good. Mate had to buy a new handle for his as he snapped his.

Yeah still here mate, not to bad at the min. Still below minus everyday but least it's not hitting -27 like a couple of weeks ago. Tryin to up load a couple of pics but won't let me. I take pic from computer and then press upload and it goes down into a file attached but after that won't let me do anything...strange

cracking ax,s have a little one i use for hedgelaying so sharp. good investment.

pity they do not make bill hooks. or do they or could they make one

That's there website in English for u to have a look at. I didn't see one there but without a doubt I reckon they would be able to make one.

Yeah that place is a mad man's dream house. Some cool stuff in there. What company are working for? Are on rail work?
