Wood shaving shortage?

Told there is a shortage by local places as its going for biomass. Had to try 4 different places before found some in stock...

 

I use it for the hen house, maybe worth stockpile a load of bags.

I use `noodles`in my henhouse, the long spirally bits you get cutting along the grain.I bag it, but if i run out i only need to cut a bit more.It generates more bulk than shavings.Seems to last longer before getting trampled down too.

There is or was a machine on ebay to produce shavings for £2500. Ill see if I can find it.

We have a wooden spar and mast maker next to us. They must burn 4-5 cubic metres a week. Find a local cabinet maker and come to some arrangement. They are usually glad to be rid of it.
