Just thought I'd share some pictures of a recent. Bit of milling in the woods

Got a stihl056 with a 36" bar and mill and a mini mill on an stihl290

It was an all day job but the photos only show part of the days milling.

Got through 4 logs like that one getting between 14 - 17 8"x4"x8' sleepers per log.

That's a very good tally indeed for one day!

The first log was the slowest, we took 1 slab then the edge then reset the mill from 8 to 4".

The other logs went quicker as we slab bed them all at 8" then took an edge off each slab then reset the mill, having to change things only once rather than every slab 1 by 1.
