Anyone got any sycamore?

Hello all,

 

I'm new here (so feel free to move this message if it's in the wrong section Admin), and whislt I have done a fair bit of tree surgery in my time, not a tree surgeon. I'm a green wood worker. And yes, you guessed it, I'm on the scrounge.

 

I need green sycamore for a project I'm working on, so if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. I'm even willing to pay for it.

 

I'm based in London, but spend time in Surrey/Hampshire and East Devon so If anyone in these areas can help it would be amazing.

I'll have a stem or two from Coulsdon/Banstead borders on March 1st. Please don't say you want it in 10' lengths; I've only got an Arb trolley and a trailer!

Hi guys,

 

I reckon I'll not be needing anything longer than 60-70 cm

And I'll take any width over 20cm, branches, trunks, the lot.

 

As for quantity, to start with just an estate car full, but eventually who knows. Hopefully loads.

Dan, PM me during the last few days of February if you're still after some and I'll put some aside for you. I'm in Caterham but regularly use the M Twenty Car Park clockwise if it's a trek.
