Can anyone advise on a rough price for a days hire of crane fed chipper (+ tractor and operator) please. I've been given a price of 800 + vat + transport, which I think sounds quite steep, but I'm happy to be corrected.

Thanks, Sandy

You have to talk size and power for any thing to make sense, 10’’ chipper with crane and 150 – 200 hp 800 expensive, big hiezohack with 200 – 300 hp cheap

Thanks, aye that price is for a big heizohack so I guess the quote was fair enough. A 10" chipper with crane would do the job but can't seem to find anyone local with that set up. cheers
