I just tried watching the program on iplayer, another silly set of presenters acting gormless. I skipped through and watched the last 8 minutes on the biomass. No wonder you asked questions Pat and started this. This thread is a mine of info by comparision. I havn't got patience for a lot of tv anymore, its dumbed down to the IQ of the lowest viewers, a bit like schools these days.

The Jeremy Kyle club innit!

I heard recently that water power is the only free energy youll be taxed on in the U.K, can anyone confirm deny that? only heard it a day or two ago so no research yet.

 

Sorry to disappoint but if you produce enough you also get taxed on wind and solar.
