Fat balls!

I used to feed the birds but it got to where they were eating it all up in one day. I ain't made outta money.

This winter is much harder than the last so we upped the amount of food for the birds. In the small tray is a mix of seeds soaked in lamb fat.

Once id cut the fat off a joint of beef they had today!

 

Always feed the birds, like to watch em.

 

Bread with english mustard on is good to watch.

Be carefull when using fat balls and bird feeders with nets.Our little feathered freinds feet get caught in the nets and can rip their feet out, they get caught.I tend to put fat balls in plastic bird feeders.

We don’t get any birds in our garden….last week I spent £28 on bird feed from the local garden centre in an attempt to attract them in. Not a sausage! Must be something to do with the neighbours cat me thinks, wish I kept the air-rifle now!

 

I got one specifically for killing the pidgeons, they end up scaring the other birdies off and stopping them getting at the food...

 

We put bird feeders out that they couldn't get at, so now they just harass the other birds and scare them

 

The little robin that's been coming and going for years, I know younger generation, keeps giving them a good going over though

That's funny I see pigeons feeding alongside plenty of other species in my garden.
