Thanks I did the springs up quite tight might try loosen them,

 

I don't have any pics I will try to post some soon.

 

Getting very frustrated with her now it is such a good machine usually. Don't wont to put in a shop for them to come back with something small which I could have done.

I have run and used lots and you will be hard pressed to find a better chipper than yours

I can empathise your and with your problem, I have a similar machine, obviously you have checked the tensions in the springs on both sides of the feed rollers.

 

Mine suffers from debris collecting under the feed roller arm (trapped between the arm and the chipper frame) so the rollers do not close together properly. In your instance perhaps it is worth having a look at the rubber stops (i.e. have they moved) or the ingress of some type of foreign material preventing adequate pressure between the feed rollers.

 

Just a suggestion :)
