I've got the same one and it's spot on. Bought it two years ago and not had any bother with it although I only split for myself and it's not working all winter. I run it off a power pack and it's good for me and capable of splitting big knotty lumps but would be faster on a tractor.

 

4 way knife is easily removed for knotty lumps but for clean stems it ideal and fast. I bridged the two handles with a bit of wood to make it one handed. All I would say is that I paid a couple of hundred less a few years ago and it was brand new but it could have been clearance stock. There's also another couple on ebay and one is yellow.

Looks good to mefor the money, and i would expect you could acieve a reasonable reasale on it if it wasnt up to scratch. If you do decide to go for it, i would appreciate a review, as ill be interested my self in a few months.

this one came down to £500 the one from ktm (yellow one)was £550 and I would have to go further to collect,I wanted to have a go doing one myself but if I spent my time doing what I do for aliving (pig arks etc.)I could get one made ready.:thumbup:
