How would you rig this tree?

I think its been said but clear everything apart from the poly tunnel side first then if needs be put a basic rigging line to swing it across to the DZ. or get up as far as possible where your comfortable and snap cut them and throw across. If ur unsure that ur not able to hold on it then wrap a small sling around the branch and through ur wrist so uve still got hold of it

iam pretty sure the polytunnel could not be moved easly.

rigging that side would be a lot safer than cut and chuck imo, particuly if your new to it,. the plastic on those tunnels is fragile and one wrong step cut and youve ruined the tunnel!

have fun and dont forget to pack the extra tough clear tape that day!!!

I would throw a tarp over the tunnel to give it a bit more protection.

good ideas i wanted to possibly get some wood around it , but not easily feasible

cut in hand held sections and throw! then chog the stem down. no need to rig it;)

Where do you live matey? Maybe you could get someone on here to come and do it for you. You should not have to rig this tree at all. If you had to do a light reduction you would have to climb right up the top and out to the tips, that tree will take your weight. Maybe you just need to watch someone to pick up some tips etc.

oh ok, i was thinking that the ends of those branches wouldnt support my weight, but it seems to be the consensus on here that they will.

i will be careful and climb up them slowly
