Hi guys, currently rebuilding a 365 special, and I have just discovery these big bore kits you can get from America, does anybody have any experience with these? What's the quality like bearing in mind the saw will be used daily,

Not tried one of these, you could ask the guys on Arboristsite.com as they will have greater knowledge of them.

 

The Meteor kits, if built the same way as their pistons will be good.

 

Other options, the 365 has a lot of squish built in, and they can be ported and muffler modded.

 

I am sure the saw can be made to rev up to 14-14,400rpm and achieve a faster cut through decent tuning.
