Getting cold down here, been below freezing most of the day on the farm, and windy windy. It could cut your bleeding face off. How far up are you shrek, my family are from Galston and Kilmarnock, only been there once but was really nice. The name is Coruthers, but alot of them moved down here top corby for the steel works hence why I am here and English and not Scottish although I dont forget my roots.

It was pretty windy where I was working today, up a big ash on top of a hill in Rawtenstall.

 

Taking a big top out into the wind, even though it was perfectly weighted in the direction of fell, the wind kept pushing it back onto my saw. Had to put a pull line in it in the end. Plus the wind blowing the sawdust into my face was like being sandblasted. Very irritating!

Sound mate. Hows work got plenty on I hope.

 

nothing mate, phone has went dead. weather is crap. not bothered just yet as i cant get to work, my wee one isnt too good so i am looking after other boy and up and down to hospital every day. but he is on the mend thank god. if i want work i can soon find some if i am stuck,
