I know and that confuses me deeply!

 

Still, you all said that iMovie is pretty simple but it doesn't make any sense to me.

There are no instructions at all and I can't figure out the difference between the top box and the bottom box where my videos appear.

 

I don't know what happened with my time lapse video. It's still on the camera but nowhere on the computer.

Try i-photo because a time lapse is just still photos taken every few seconds according to camera settings. Also I have the GoPro Hero2. it didn't have the right date set and once I uploaded it to my Mac it put pictures on the wrong dates. Another tip for Mac is to use finder and it can show you recent downloads. Hope this helps! I know it's frustrating, very time consuming, and uses allot of storage space. You have an extra computer you can find helpful Youtube videos on the issues your having. Watch, pause try it out, etc.., Good luck and let us know how it goes

That's where I went first.

I think I've probably made a mistake on this occasion so I'll make another time lapse tomorrow and see what happens.

Ok so I've now got two time lapse movies opened in iPhoto.

 

1. How do I get them into iMovie?

 

2. How do I then make it run as a movie, or will it all become clear at that point?

I use video pad. Very simple to use
