I like the o-rig setup ....will definately give it a go when I have some time, not having a spliced eye and having to use 3 krabs puts me off a bit ...need to get a couple of bits to make it neater.

I guess I am really after a setup I can just clip or unclip...

i find the rope man works best and it passed the lowler, and you can adjust up whilst under load by bring the tail up and thrusting. You do have to release your weight to descend on it. It gets you close to the lock jack and the rope man three has a non toothed cam like the one in the photo which is a Kong Duck. Hope that helps Dan.

Have you considered having an extendable bridge on your harness and leaving the lockjack the same??

But all depends what sort of harness you have and weather or not it will incorporate it

I haven't considered that but think it would need a lot of extension to work.

I like the look of the Kong Duck ...I have a ropeman 2 but its tight to get cord and krab on it...otherwise this is the perfect setup....LOLER wasn't over the moon with it ...but he doesn't like anything that isn't brand new  and a mangled old shackle didn't help. Think I just need to find the right krab...before I buy another cam device. Thanks for your help :thumbup1:

I personally would not be using a ropeman type device to adjust with.. One you can't adjust it under load. Two if you take a fall onto it, it can cut your rope (not sure about the newer ones with a less aggressive cam) and three when that little release wire/string gets caught on something I would cack my pants. Just an opinion..
