Bit difficult to miss them this time of year, they tend to wear their 'I'm over here' suit ! :biggrin:

Got a few trees locally I'm keeping an eye on, and there's a sweet chestnut woodland nearby so will take a trip up there. WIll also see if the G. lucidum is coming out on the hornbeam up that way as well, as Martin at Kew asked me to keep a tabs. Just hoping the chickens don't end up in a pan before I get there.

Saw this bracket growing from a sleeper outside a neighbours house. Only got one pic as I thought they may wonder what I was doing taking close ups of their steps! Had a look at the fungi app, but still no clue as to what it could be?
