Tis the season to see Fungi, fa la la la la....

If you like your Mycor fungi so much david i will have to show you another little patch of wood even closer to you than whip.

 

little section of woodland that is young but kicks but with mycors. go to toby carvery and toward radlett, park under M1 motorway bridge hundred yards from carvery (junction five and on A41) you know where I mean. theres a field inbetween the motorway and the Golf club, that little wood, worth a look my friend.

Hi David

 

Photos taken last thursday, the tree is an old poplar and seems to be in fine health.

 

My ident books are currently in storage hence my uncertainty but they don't look classicaly like Amillaria to me, but like you say, certain similarities.
