Just a couple of bits of interest I came across whilst standing around on the blower the other day.

Thought the first (opposite the coro), was just an old hispidus at first, but on closer look, turns out to be Auricularia mesenterica-tripe fungus, on an old prunning wound.

Not a particularly good shot though.

Second is just a couple of Ganoderma applanatums on a felled Ash trunk next to the one above.

Jonathan Ross' pad across the road behind the van.

President of the Hampstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Society, no less :confused1:

Daedaleopsis confragosa - blushing bracket.

This being saprophytic on dead Birch trunk on the ground.

What I believe to be Skeletocutis amorpha, here saprophytic on dead Pine.

Phellinus ignarius - Willow bracket

Parasitic on main host plus also Birch, polplar & Rowan (Though I've only seen it associated on the former, any one else?)
