Ganoderma resinaceum

 

First shot the same Red Oak with younger Fb taken in the first week of July back in 2006.

 

The rest from today.

I was nudging Neville Fay out of the way, so I could get a better shot than him, whilst the sun was popping in and out from the clouds :sneaky2:

found this on a weeping Ash I inspected on a development site today, normally I would have identified from the ground however as I only had camera phone I decided to clamber up and get a close up just for you!

 

The 3rd one is just a Funguy to be with!! :001_tongue:

It seemd to be almost flourescent in colour not seen it so bright before - have you?

Found these Gannos on an Oak today, the thing was riddled with tiny formations and had a huge cavity opening out in the base :scared1:
