Welded gauntlets for handling thorny stuff.

For climbing when very cold I use those black gloves that Treeworker sells. It says in the description that they are curiously grippy in the wet and its true.

Are they called "Gripz"? As we use those and they stick to everything..can be annoying at times(too grippy)

Cutter gloves with welding gaunlets (gold ones from Greenhams) on top. Ain't nowt getting through that :-)

 

Just brought the Gil sailing pro gloves with the fingertips missing. Seem really strong yet you can still feel things. This was on someone's recommendation from here. Expensive though.

I'm sure the gripz gloves allow you to pick up to much as you don't get the slip factor when picking up heavy loads, and as a consequence can damage your muscles.

I've found them to be excellent value, although I don't wear gloves every day, maybe 3 days a month in winter.

Nice selection of gloves there Al...the fitted rigging gloves look good...i don't climb in gloves..never have,but if i did i would certainly try the Dark ones..
