off to france on sunday:thumbup:

3 valleys and snow looks good but a bit too warm.

Anyone else going anywhere.

If i dont dislocate my shoulder again will be booking another :thumbup:

just had a bit of trouble getting insurance due to shoulder history and recent knee opp and a few other ailments so a big loading and a £500 excess.:thumbdown:

Livigno, Italy, for a week in february.

 

Great atmosphere, good skiing, and TAX FREE :)

Might try on Telemark skiing this year. Looks cool, except when I'm doing it :(

 

Looking forward to it. Not doing much climbing these days

Was looking for a last minute thing myself. My board keeps calling me from the shed!

 

I did say skiing not one of the scum boarders haha

but then again i did board for a few years but saw the light again:thumbup:

Ive done both for a few years and both have their pros and cons. My son is getting old enough to learn now and I think skiing will be the easiest route for him to start off with.

Interesting Bob - I was thinking of going over to boarding. Seems a lot less faffing with only one board and comfy boots. Only been skiing 3 times and never had comfy boots - mainly cos I take a size 14 - and the discomfort spoils it a bit.

Why did you go the other way?

That's Meribel isn't it? I'm due to go there for the last week in March. I've done plenty of cross country before, but never Alpine. Looking forward to it!
