It looks nice and I had considered making my own similar to this.

 

Just one question though - can you get this LOLER tested since its home made without any specific testing parameters, breaking strain etc? Just wondering, not a dig in any way.

And are the rubber mounts removable so it can be cut into the tree?

yeah was thinking that but didnt wanna scratch the paint work haha .was thinking of making the base plate out of ally but i think the hooks for the ratchet strap would chew the ally up a bit

 

No stick with steal mate its more durable and stronger than alloy, but I defiantly would add a second fairlead other than that mate I think it looks great:thumbup1:
