get on ebay, get a Royal Navy goretex jacket £25 jacket about same for trousers. Never let me down.:thumbup: had mine for about 3 or 4 years, its had heavy climbing use. I've washed it and treated it with Nikwax goretex treatment and it hasn't let the rain in yet :thumbup:

Got my clark cut and climb yesterday looks and feels very well made, shame I have done my back in and am off work cant wait to try it out.

Doesn't have to be work mate;)... I actually live in mine, dog walks its a must... you may find it a little stiff in places but it'll settles quickly:D:D

Will get some funny looks from the wife if I wear it around the house lol she already thinks I have lost the plot haha

the problem with ex-Army goretex, is its DPM (camouflage), I've had a couple of near misses wearing it...a hi viz is a must. The Navy stuff has pockets and is much harder wearing..heres me enjoying a bit of Suffolk weather in it!
