Last year Dundee council allegedly had loads available for uplift mate , not seen it myself but heard a few people on about it , might be worth a shout . You could also try murthly sawmill , just near stanley in Perth where I live , they sell logs in bulk cut and split so may have some cord .

In fact definitely try murthly saw mill , I was talking to them about buying some cord from the council and they told me to try a local chap but I can't remember the name ! I'm sure if you phoned they could point you in the right direction

Dundee Council told me they deliver with their own tractor/forwarders,

9 tonne of mixed hardwood approx £184 15 miles fae the city £152 ish inside the city limits... no collections allowed due to H&S. Might be different if you are buying 100 tonnes though.

PS they only deliver when they have time, waited 8 weeks for my last load

Cheers for the replies guys. Have contacted the council this week but the have a lot of people on a waiting list to get deliveries which is a bit of a nightmare! Ill give the sawmill a try though :)
