Towing regs again

As far as I understand it, yes, provided the trailer doesn't weigh more than 750Kgs, and the vehicle/trailer combo is legal ie. The towing vehicle is plated to tow that weight.

Personally I find all those regs very confusing. I have a b1+e licence so I know I can drive anything up to 3.5, and tow whatever the vehicle is capable of, up to a 7t train weight. Happy days

Me too, so I'm not too bothered but conflicting reports have made me wary of letting anyone tow anything with my 3500 truck (what they do with their own vehicles is upto them) but from now on I think I will be more confident in allowing it.
