Standing Timber for sale

Hi all, newbie to the site here.

I have 15 or so acres of woodland near Ashford in Kent, and am looking into the possibility of selling some of the timber within the wood.

Fronting the woods is a couple paddocks and storage buildings/Barn in an old livery yard so plenty of room to stack the timber. Road access is easy from the yard.

Could anyone give me any advice as to how I would go about getting a decent price for trees. Manly Oak, Hornbeam, Ash, Birch and Hazel with Aspen in the younger areas.

Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong area, Thanks.

Depends how much you are looking at having cut and the reasons why. the best way to get a decent price is to offer the timber for sale on a tender/bid basis, that way you are able to choose the highest bidder.

I would be interested in coming and taking a look I will PM with my details.

David
