What length of cord are you using for that Dan?

Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2

The shortest you can. I make up my hitch cord with fishermans. Tie one knot then tie the knot then tie the second knot a little short, it'll be hard to get in on the krab but once its there it'll be sweet. Works well

even in the wet:thumbup:

I know VT is for Valdotain Tresse which is wraps + braids. Tresse is braids in another language. Valdotain is just wraps. Not sure about Machard?

Yeah that's right. Its French I believe. I've heard some people call my knot a helical but it ain't, and some call it a helicopter hitch

Cheers for the advice lads ill give it a go :thumbup1: on a seperate note does anyone know if you can clip krabs onto the rings that connect either side of the bridge on the skylotec harness? Ive seen them used on the treemotion and it seems like a good idea for stropping in at awkward angles. im sure they are strong enough on the skylotec but i dont think their meant to be used for that. opinions?
