Any cord available in South Wales?!

Hi,

I have been looking for some cord for a while now with no luck! Does anyone know of anything in South Wales or a good distance away? Forestry commision are boardering useless so cant be bothered with waiting around on the Welsh firewood framework contract! Just to satisfy the big suppliers that are not in wales?!? They dont have enough resorses to go and measure the wood so cant sell it to me, thats with me giving them 6 locations that wood has been piled up for over 6 months! Rant over...

Softwood or hardwood at roadside, processor size if possible but would consider anything

Cash waiting for 2-3 loads depending on price

how far into south wales are you.. been taking straw into camarthen all summer so south wales seems lot closer than it used too.. and have good idea on diesel costs to that area now.. camarthen and back is £300 that much i do no..!!

Ash, I'm writing to Forestry Commission this week about the very subject, either they can supply or they must lease us woodland areas to allow us to extract an agreed amount. A joint letter to WFW about the subject wouldn't go amiss, but there again the chair runs a big firewood company just over the border!
