my ifor gx8x4 floor went west i have some 6mm ally cequer plate in sheets just over 8 x4 as trhe trailer is just over 8x4 there pucker no ply to rot 6mm thick sheet weighs 50 kg and wont ever rot and takes all the abuse i can throw at it !

 

I do have a couple of sheets left lol !

what about something like this, i've done a mates plant trailer with it and works really well unless you want to carry bulk/lose sand or the like

was just thinking the same for my pickup gr8 for logs as the crap goes through and for sand /gravel have some ply dropped over the top:thumbup1:

would need some engineering to get the tailgate to shut over that as it would sit higher than the old floor thats all :)
