I'm absolutely incensed !!!!!!!

Well i can think of a few friends and colleges who can vouch for the medics training. 10 or even 5 years ago the the injuries they sustained would have killed without a question.

 

Thanks to good realistic (all be it unpalatable to some) training men and women both military and civilian are alive today. Tell them that this practice is outdated.

 

People forget that military medicine filters down to the civilian market for example the ArbAid Kit. most of that kit would be found in any combat medics bergen. It had to be tested somehow.

 

Also practicing trauma on a dummy that squirts fake blood just does not cut it. fake flesh reacts differently. A dummy does not smell, feel or react like a real body and people act very differently when confronted with real warm pumping blood.

 

I can only wish i had, had that kind of training when I deployed. instead of having to wait for the first body.

 

Yes its not ideal but it does work sorry to rant and sound uncaring but this is real life.
