SOme friends of mine paid £14k on an MFI kitchen (foolish I know...) due to be delivered on the 8th december. On the 7th MFI went into administration. DOes anybody have any information on this? I'd hazard a gues that my friends flatpack kitchen is sat in a warehouse somewhere gathering dust...

MY kitchen is handcrafted from 2" wych Elm slabs. No MFI rubbish for this boy.

 

Nope on the card though, they paid cash :rolleyes:

imagine the handcrafted kitchen they could of got with 14k,

sorry to hear about there misfortune hope it works out.

my mum and dad are still waiting for mfi doors for wardrobes from 25years ago.:sneaky2:

Have you tried the MFI website itself (mfi.co.uk).

 

There's some stuff on there about what to do and it mentions filling in a form if you've paid cash...

 

"complete the Proof of Debt form available on the Company's website and submit this form to the Joint Administrators at [email protected] or 43-45 Portman Square, London, W1H 6LY before 31 January 2009"
